Dry shampoo. It’s practically a staple in my bathroom, and has saved my hair more times than I can count. All was good, till one day I reached for my can and…it.was.empty.
So I searched for a quick homemade fix, and haven’t looked back since. Besides, all my shampoos are natural, so it doesn’t really make sense to have a spray-can for this, when dry shampoo can be so easily (and cheaply) made. The best bit is it requires only 2 ingredients, or 1 if you’re blonde.
you will need:
- cocoa powder (for brunettes,)
- Take the jar/shaker/whatever you’re gonna put the mix in, and add the cornstarch and cocoa in the rough ratio 4:1.
- Put a lid on the container and shake shake shake.
- That’s literally it. The ratio is by no means exact, so trial and error till you get something you like. Then simply sprinkle it on your hair, the cocoa smells sososo good.
